| STEP 4 I then head back to Illustrator, but leave my step 3 drawing behind. Using the colour reference numbers generated by both programs, I get the colours I chose in Photoshop into Illustrator and start setting lines down on a new layer where I want shadows to be. I place larger dots to remind me of my base colour, then darken and lighten them as need be. Here is the whole body with shading broken down. I've also finished the eyes and lips in Illustrator since they are smaller detail, and it's just easier to finish them completely here, than block them out and finish in Photoshop later. |
