| STEP 2 After scanning and cropping the image, I bring it into Adobe Illustrator. I create a layer to work on overtop of the pencils, and fill in the lines with the brush tool. I've made some minor changes that I wasn't 100% on in my pencil drawing, and changed her lekku spots to a non-black line so they aren't garishly prominent. I've also thrown some light reflection into her eyes that will stand out more when they are coloured. |
